Letter U tracing worksheet

The capital U is one curve like a cup. Down, curve, and back up — U ends going upward, ready to join.

Each row alternates U and u so a child practises both forms of the same letter in one sitting — which is how it is taught, because the two shapes are learned as one letter rather than two. Say the letter SOUND as they trace rather than its name: that is what turns tracing into reading.
