Number 2 tracing worksheet

Two starts at the top with a curve to the right, slides down on a diagonal to the bottom-left corner, then finishes with a flat line along the base. It is one of the most commonly reversed numbers — the curve wants to face RIGHT.

If a backwards 2 keeps appearing, have the child trace the first curve alone a few times ('over the top like a rainbow') before writing the whole number.

When 2 feels automatic on its own, the 1–10 sheet mixes it back in with its neighbours — recognising it in a line-up is the next step after writing it alone.
