About skip count by 2s chart (1–100)

Most skip-counting practice asks a kid to count forward and mark numbers one at a time, which tests the skill but doesn't show it. Shading every multiple of 2 across the full 1-100 chart does something a worksheet can't: it turns the count into a shape. Every shaded cell lands in the same two columns of each row, so a child looking at the finished page sees the pattern all at once, before they can explain why it happens.

That density is also the honest trade-off of this specific variant. Half the chart ends up shaded, which is more visual information than a 5s or 10s chart carries, so it suits a kid who already knows the count and is ready to see the pattern behind it, more than a first introduction to skip counting itself. It works well as a wall reference during the 2-times table, since it's the same 100-square grid a class already recognizes, just with the pattern pre-marked instead of built during the lesson.
