Addition to 10 colour by code — rocket

Number bonds to ten are the one piece of addition every later strategy is built on, so this sheet asks for nothing else — six possible answers (5 through 10), six legend colours, no distraction. Every cell holds a real addition problem, including the background cells, so the rocket silhouette stays hidden until enough of the page is actually solved.

The mechanic is what makes it self-checking: a wrong answer colours the wrong cell, and a wrong-looking rocket is the feedback, not a red pen. The answer key prints both the number and the colour NAME next to each cell, so a colour-blind child can mark their own work the same way everyone else does.
