Preschool chore chart

Four and five year olds can follow a two-step instruction, which is what makes real chores possible: making a bed is 'pull the cover up, put the pillow on top'. The list here is built from tasks with that shape.

This is also the age where doing the job badly matters less than doing it at all. Resist redoing it in front of them.
