Isometric graph paper

Isometric paper replaces the square grid with three sets of lines at 60 degrees to each other, so height, width and depth all stay to the same scale. That is what lets you sketch a cube, a building or a mechanical part and have every edge measurable straight off the page.

It is the standard sheet for design-and-technology coursework and for anyone drafting by hand before moving to CAD.
