Reading comprehension task cards give students bite-sized practice with one skill and one short passage at a time — perfect for a center tub, a game of Scoot, or a quick small-group check. This 13-page pack gives you 80 print-and-cut task cards in ten sets of eight, one skill per set: main idea (cards 1-8), detail recall (9-16), inference (17-24), sequencing (25-32), cause and effect (33-40), vocabulary in context (41-48), author's purpose (49-56), prediction (57-64), compare (65-72) and summarize (73-80). Every card carries a brand-new 2-3 sentence passage written for this pack — nothing is copied from our reading question banks or worksheets — followed by one focused question, sized to fit its printed card.
